I have never been on the Escape, but I thought all cruise lines would do that. Just my thoughts.

I think so but its easier to just buy at a office store clear ID pouches. That way you can have more than 1 card and its easier to take off.

We had bought the pouches previously.  However, after 2 trips to guest services to replace lost cards that had fallen out of the pouch (my kiddo's), we just have them punch a hole in theirs.

They don't recommend punching the cards due to the scan strip or chip (depending on the cruise line), as mentioned above get the plastic sleeve and add a little bit of tape to secure the card.

I just got off the Escape last weekend and they punched a hole in my mom's keycard for her at the Guest Services desk no problem. It was nice, because I had bought her a lovely, fashionable lanyard as a gift and she was able to wear it the whole time. She got a ton of compliments. That was a well spent $13 on Amazon!

My two cents...  I'd rather use a clear pouch where I can pull it in and out...  And I think the servers probably appreciate that more as well than having to deal with cords dangling off cards all over the place.

They did for us, gift shop has a hole punch.  (where we bought our lanyard)
