Are there more late night activities on the bigger ships.

We just got back from our second RC cruise and I am a little disappointed, again. Our first RC cruise was 2 years ago on the Empress and this one was on the Majesty. We had the drink package on both cruises and found it impossible to get a drink or enjoy any activities after about 1-2am. We closed down the casino and nightclub just about every night.

 

We usually sail Carnival and do not have this issue. Is everything shutting down early because these are smaller ships, or is this just the way RC does things?

Yes the older smaller ships are no comparison to the mega Oasis class.  Our last cruise on Oasis had the pub and Dazzles night club going strong at 2-3am.  We ended one night at Sorrento's pizza well after 3am with the promenade still full of people.

Could have been  the demographic on those cruises.    I know the casino tends to stay open as long as there is a good amount of activity.
