Renting a scooter/wheelchair for cruise.

Has anyone ever rented a scooter/ wheelchair during their cruise? One of the lady's that is cruising on the Harmony with us tires easily, and I would like to get any advice, info or tips you may have. Are there different companies that provide this or is it only through Royal Caribbean. Thank you for any help you may offer.

There are a couple of companies commonly used, which will deliver to and pickup from your stateroom.

Keep in mind that renting a scooter usually works best for a handicapped cabin. You have to keep the scooter in the cabin; not in the hallway.  Make sure you can fit through the door if it’s a regular cabin. A wheelchair might be a better choice.

We were just on the Allure and I never saw so many scooters and there were several parked outside rooms every night as I made my way down the hallway. You need to book them at least 3 weeks ahead.
