My husband and I will be in Costa Maya next week from 8am to 5pm. Are there tour operators available at the cruise terminal? Are there any attractions we can walk to? Thanks!!

There are atvs and golf carts available for rent at the port.

You need to take a tram or a taxi to get to the beaches in Mahahual (lots of threads on these here)

There is a pool at the port and a water park within walking distance, just outside the port.
