MIA Airport Parking

We currently have parking booked for two weeks at the MIA Crowne Plaza (which has good reviews).  Does anyone have experience with this lot?  Thanks!

We are thinking about parking here next month for 8 days.  Please tell me about your experience.  Also how did you travel to the port and the return to the hotel parking lot?   Thanks for your help!

Taxi from MIA airport Hotels to POM will be about $30+ and UberX will be about $20.  Same fare will get you back to your car after the cruise.

I have not parked at any MIA area hotels while cruising, but have stayed near MIA (usually in one of the Blue Lagoon area hotels - usually Homewood Suites) when arriving late the evening before a cruise.  Some of the hotels can arrange for shuttle service for a fee, but usually if there are 2 or more cruising a taxi or Uber makes more sense.

 

FWIW most of the locals on this board will only suggest parking at POM, where it is covered, convenient and secure.  You might look at staying someplace cheap outside of south FLA and then driving to POM the morning of your cruise.  We have been on the road early from Orlando, dropped a rental car off at MIA, and have been on the ship enjoying a DOD and lunch before noon!
