Color is like wine?

Interesting results from a poll given by Tony Northrup to determine which camera brand had the best color science. Fairly scientific and presented along with some thoughtful reasoning as to why it isn't as important as some make it out to be.

It's so weird to see this video, I've watched his FAA test prep classes for my drone license, but never any photography videos. 

I always shoot RAW (Nikon) and adjust in Lightroom. But I can usually live with the jpeg versions out of camera for quick sharing.

Informative video but I don't really care about the slight differences in colors. There are many mobile apps today that do the color filter thing which is much better and looks vintagey too.

I know my own "eye" likes warmer, more saturated images, accurate or not. 

I think it is interesting, but not surprising, that perceptions changed when brand names were associated with images.
