I guess you'll never go to Aruba. They are everywhere and some of them look so big that I believe a small child could ride one. I see you're from Baltimore -- check out the pigeons and that's just about how it is with the iguanas. I tell you it's the truth.

You have a much higher chance of seeing a basilisk (aka Jesus lizard) in Florida than on one of the islands. Irresponsible pet owners have let them free and they are now part of the ecosystem.

Or you could come look in my chest freezer. icon_eek.gif

imosoreal: thanks for the info on aruba (if i am ever there, i will stay on ship)

Cruisinfanatic: St. Thomas is out for me....lizard on beach!ewwwwwwwww

derf: as usual, GREAT INFO!!!

bethee: i am not a great fan of snakes either, but unlike lizards (any type) snakes do not elicit the same response frome me (picture a 30ish woman running, screaming, flailing, hyperventilating.)

i am looking at the pictures of lizards on belize trying to de-sensitize myself (at-home behavioral modification therapy) i hope it is working. i may go to chankanaab park if i can get a handle on this irrational fear!

lordy! lordy! ms glory!
