This is my first time on a "yacht/cruise". It is a gift for my husbands 4oth birthday and was looking for any "must do" or tips for making the most of what most certainly will be an amazing trip. Any input would be greatly appreciated.:p

We did a very similar trip - if there's anything that we did that interests you, I could expand on it for you. Be sure to share your experiences when you get back!

 

By the way, we're doing SDII on Jan 28, and we plan to rent a scooter in St Martin AND St Barths. We can't wait!

 

We're also definitely going to go back to the Tuscan Grill in Frenchtown, St. Thomas.

The top ten things I wouold do on your cruise:

 

10) Spend one day not getting off the ship and lie on a sun bed all day

 

9) Golf @ 4 Seasons Nevis

 

8) have Sean arrange a private special dinner on aft deck 4 with your husband on a special night

 

7) Go on the Baths tour in Virgin Gorda

 

6) Trek down to the Soggy Bottom bar after finishing your beach lunch picnic (on fine china) on Jost Van Dyke and down a painkiller while trying to make a ring hook on to a tree

 

5) be first in line in the champagne and caviar splash

 

4) Have the longest facial and massage you can justify in the spa

 

3) Jump in the ocean off the swim platform

 

2) Buy the "only sold in St Barts" scarf at Hermes in Gustavia

 

1) Sleep outside under the stars in the forward bed on the clearest night

 

The only thing better would be to take all of us with you
