ProgRockCruiser Posted November 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2018 Also keep in mind that the storm may or may not go where it is currently predicted, and may or may not grow into anything worth worrying about. Do monitor it of course, but also don't worry - the captain will keep you safe!

But Seriously , they will keep you safe and if you get seasick go to the purser they will give you dramamine if you need it.

FlaMommy75 Posted November 13, 2018 #9 Share Posted November 13, 2018 I am flying to Puerto Rico this Thursday and headed on the Fascination on Sunday. I am definitely a little nervous right now but cautiously optimistic it will dissipate.
coevan Posted November 13, 2018 #10 Share Posted November 13, 2018 really nothing to be nervous about, they know where the storm is and where it's heading. Last thing Carnival wants is to do is put you in harms way. If the storm is headed your way, you might go towards Mexico instead of St.Thomas
ProgRockCruiser Posted November 13, 2018 #11 Share Posted November 13, 2018 (edited) NHC update: 1. Disorganized showers and a few thunderstorms moving through the Leeward Islands are associated with a tropical wave interacting with an upper-level low. Strong upper-level winds and interaction with the islands of the Greater Antilles, while the system moves generally westward, should inhibit tropical cyclone formation. Regardless of development, this system is expected to bring locally heavy rainfall to portions of the Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico over the next few days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent. So it looks like it might just stay disorganized for your cruise, but still bring rain to the area.
