late flight

We are doing Vancouver to Whitter in July 2019, the ship arrives in Whitter early but our flight is not until  8:00 p.m  . Looking for what to do between time really dont want to sit around air port but dont want to cart luggage around all day either..  Any ideas?

In 2012 Princess had (and still has as far as I know) combo transportation and sightseeing excursions from Whittier to a central location in Anchorage (visitors center?) where you can leave your suitcases until around 5 or 5:30 and explore Anchorage on your own and then take the shuttle to the airport.  If you have time, we highly recommend the Museum (https://www.anchoragemuseum.org/) and the Trolley Tours (https://anchoragetrolley.com/).

We are doing the July 19 Vancouver to Whittier cruise. I had the same question. Here are the options I found (you can google details):

1. Princess transfer to Anchorage. Store luggage at visitors centre and then take shuttle to airport

2. Alaska Cruise Transfer- does 1/2 day and full day tours. Will dropoff st airport.

3. Bear Paw Transportation. Also does transfers, 1/2 day and full day tours either private or shared ride from Whittier to Anchorage.

4. Avis car rental in Whittier with drop off in Anchorage.
