We set sail on The NCL escape April 28th and hopefully in Kings wharf on May 1st  if Its completed in time.. Thanks for the updates.

Escape berths at Heritage Wharf unless the upgrade includes making it possible for larger ships to dock at Kings Wharf. Up to now ships the size of Escape and Anthem  have had to use the Heritage Wharf berth.

Is there anymore news about the work at Kings Wharf?  We are booked on Celebrity Summit mid-May.  Should we be concerned?  Will the work be completed?

The work has started. The new deck is pre fab so it should be completed. The new terminal building may not be finished but they don’t need a building to debark/embark, only a deck.

I’ll be in Bermuda for the day (4/11/19) on the Getaway. Hope the project stays on time!!

Getaway would  be docked at the other berth. Heritage Wharf. That is the dock for larger ships like NCL Getaway. I don’t think King’s Wharf would be able to take the larger ships unless there is dredging and the articles on the rebuild don’t mention dredging. The 2019 port schedule is not out yet but Getaway should be at the Heritage berth.
