Wee Magoo Posted November 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2018 Can anyone advise us of the following - if we are in the Premium Club cabin and when we land in Barbados - do we embark onto the ship via a different 'queue' or do all passengers from both cabins embark via the same 'queue'? Just thought I'd ask as we have been told various things about boarding the ship ie straight off the plane, onto a bus then straight to the port or off plane & through arrivals at the airport as usual but without collecting luggage? Anyone help us with this?
Tizzy-Jo Posted November 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2018 (edited) Can’t say about queuing for embarkation. However, you won’t need to wait at the airport carousel for your luggage. Your suitcases will go straight to the ship. The next time you will see them will be when they get delivered to your cabin. Edited November 17, 2018 by Tizzy-Jo Change some wording. Pensioncruiser Posted November 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2018 You embark in the same location but have a separate line and check in desk.
Pensioncruiser Posted November 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2018 Sorry didn't notice your other question, in all the times we have flown into Grantly Addams airport to pick up the ship we have never gone through the terminal it has always been off the plane onto the coach, no passport checks, straight to the ship, they normally unload you prior to the other passengers whos first stop is the hotel. You obviously go through the terminal on your return but again its as transit passengers and you go through a different gate which is for cruise passengers only. jake 26 Posted November 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2018 The Premium Club only applies to the aircraft. You will be first to leave the aircraft and therefore in the leading group to check in the ship. However Premier check in only applies to passengers who have booked suites or family balcony cabins, so unless you've booked one of those you are in the general embarkation queue. Pensioncruiser Posted November 17, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 17, 2018 If you are flying premium class the extras end when you exit the plane, and they are worth it, if you have booked a cabin with Premier service the extras start when you arrive at check in and again they are worth it.
