Big gap in MTD choices for May 12 2019 Southern Caribbean sailing

Very strange? I'm doing Freedom May 12, 2019, Southern Caribbean cruise.

They only have 5:30 and 5:45 MTD choices but then they jump to every fifteen minutes from 7:30 thru 9:00??

What's up with the big gap in between?

It's been like this for at least the last 10 days.

Is this another Royal IT screwup? 

Or is this typical to this cruise?

That's normal - they don't allow booking the more popular times in the planner.

On our recent Allure cruise I booked 6 pm for a few nights and also one 7 pm.

I have not seen that to be the case in the prior cruises I have taken.

My experience has been if a time slot is full , they remove that slot from being a choice.

Would love to hear from others that have recently booked MTD for Freedom!
