Pre-cruise emails

On other cruise lines, I always get several "countdown" type emails before the cruise--things like welcome from the Captain, info about the ports, and of course lots of opportunities to spend money. But I haven't gotten anything like this for our cruise in three weeks. Does RC do this? I actually like getting these emails; it is part of the anticipation. It's been 10 years since I've sailed RC, so even if I could remember what they used to do, it has probably changed.

RC does not reliably send out emails.  You may or may not get one when your cruise docs are ready.  You may get emails with regard to fake sales.  That's about it unless you are in a Grand Suite or better, in which case you may or may not get an email from the Concierge.
