Boston-drop bags at ship and then tour

We are on HAL's Voyage of Vikings departing Boston at 11 PM.  We will fly into Boston the evening before.  Is it possible to drop our bags and checkin at about noon.   We would like to get our key cards, but not board the ship.  We would Uber back to Central Boston, eat lunch, spend the day touring, have dinner in the city and board later in the evening.   Maybe we could catch part of a Red Sox game.   We don't mind missing two meals on board since we will have 34 more days of Zuiderdam cooking.

What time is official check in?  If it's at noon then you can certainly do that and more.
