skrapngal Posted December 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2018 We are booked on a Pacific Coastal repositioning cruise in March 2020. Excursions are currently 30% off. Since this is a repositioning cruise, this might be one of the few "perks" we will get. Would you book excursions 16 months ahead? They are fully refundable if we change our mind or smth happens and we have to cancel. Any other advantages or disadvantages I should be aware of? CHEZMARYLOU Posted December 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2018 If you have OBC from celebrity you can use it to book. If you change your mind, even once onboard, you will get it added back to your account. Really no downside in this case. If you have to charge it you will be paying well in advance. cruzzzinma Posted December 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 2, 2018 Prior to the cruise, if you book with OBC, you can cancel and the OBC is immediately credited back to your available OBC. If you are within four days (I think) of sailing, you must wait till you board.
NantahalaCruiser Posted December 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2018 Note that the sale is UP TO 30% off, depends on the excursion.
digital_curator Posted December 3, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 3, 2018 If the excursions are on sale, book them! You can always change your mind and cancel. No disadvantage there! Cheers,
