Shopping close to port

I usually get off the ship in PR and just go shopping. I haven't been there since the hurricane and was wondering if the shops near the port are still open. I always go to the CVS and other markets near by. I have been to San Juan so many times and the hours we will be there are so late in the day

Old San Juan is back to normal.  

 

Only a few shops have not re-opened.

Nothing to worry about. I was there in May and most places around the ports were open.

We haven't been to Puerto Rico in a long time but remember docking near Senor Frog's.  Is that where Celebrity ships dock?  We will be on the Edge next year.

If it's a port call then yes, you dock at the Old San Juan dock in front of Señor Frogs. Most mainstream lines (RCL, NCL, Celebrity) whose cruise start and/or ends in San Juan use the Pan Am dock on the Eastern side of the bay. Carnival (and now Viking and some other, smaller, luxury lines) use the dock in OSJ for embarking and debarking.
