cruiselover19811981 Posted December 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2018 Hello it has been awhile (13 years) since we've sailed Royal. We will be taking a Royal cruise in the summer, and are just wondering what, if any, perks will be offered to us for booking a future cruise or two while onboard? Anyone with the latest info on this, we would appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance.
Clarea Posted December 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2018 You get on board credit for the future cruise. Additionally, if you opt for a non-refundable deposit, you get a reduced deposit.
ILOVEHI50 Posted December 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2018 And, with the non refundable deposit, you have 30 days after the cruise ends to move the cruise to a different sailing for with no penalty. That is 30 days from the last day of the cruise not 30 days from the day you book it; if you book it the first day of the cruise. You can change it as many times as you like within those 30 days. I just took advantage of this perk in the past couple weeks. The very last day I could change it is when the new transatlantic cruises were released. robandana Posted December 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2018 We always try to book onboard because of the reduced deposit and OBC and then transfer the booking to our T/A who adds a few extra goodies. They also let you book for family and friends that are not onboard.....
