Rare rafinmd Posted January 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2019 Most cruise lines are moving to unlimited internet packages and Cunard seems to be one of a very few still selling it by the minute. Has there been any buzz about Cunard changing that or do they seem firmly committed to the current plans? Also, I'm booked on a long World Cruise segment in 2020, one booking 43 days Sydney to Southampton followed immediately by the transatlantic. While there are segments starting at least in Cape Town, will I just get one free WC internet bonus for the long segment? Thanks Roy
alibabacruisers Posted January 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2019 Hi Roy, I have not heard anything regarding Cunard updating their internet packages, but I am usually the last to hear anything. On our WC segment a few years ago, we got our CWC internet allotment on each "published" segment. We did Southampton to HK, and if I remember we got it on the SOU-FLL segment, then FLL-SFO segment, then SFO-SYD and finally SYD-HK. Anyway, we did get the allotment EACH segment. I would think you would get an allotment Syd-Cape Town, then Cape Town-SOU, and Cape Town-NY; so possibly 3 internet allotments. I hope this helps.
