Upgrades with website bids on existing bookings? Any info

Hi I am on Brilliance ots and the Loyalty ambassador Joao was telling a group about a way to use the ROYAL website to bid on an upgrade if you have an existing booking. I wanted to post here to see if it was true and did anyone have details or experience with this. Under my bookings there was no link or button with this option. Thx happy new year

You have to receive an email invitation from Royal to bid on upgrades.  You cannot initiate a bid using the website.
