Question about bringing beverages onboard (not alcohol!) :)

I know Carnival allows you to bring a 12 pk of up to 12 oz cans/cartons per person, my question is do they have to be in 12 pks? The beverage I want to bring only comes in 8 pks; could me and my partner bring 3 - 8 pks for a total of 24 cans? Or does it have to be 2 - 12 pks for a total of 24 cans?

You can bring 24 cans between you. My advise is to take the cans out of their case and put them loose in your carryon. I used a rolling case for mine. When the drinks were gone, it became my souvenir bag.

It does not need to be bundled into a package. Each person is allowed 12 cans or cardboard cartons per person. You could have 8 Dr. Pepper cans and 4 Yahoo Chocolate in boxes. That would be fine.
