Are excursions available at the Nassau Cruise Dock?

We are in Nassau on Sunday. Our preferred snorkel vendor doesn't yet have the minimum 8 people to run the trip, so can't confirm it yet. I really want to go with them as we prefer small groups, but I'd be very sad to miss out on snorkeling all together if the trip get cancelled last minute. 

Worst case, I'll get on any snorkel boat that can be booked at the pier. I've been to some ports like antigua where there was no tours of any type available besides just taxis to the beach. Other places like cozumel and grand Cayman have tons of options to be booked right at the pier. What's Nassau like? Do you think I can find a snorkel tour at the pier?

There will be plenty of people standing at the end of pier trying to get you to go with them.

Like the previous poster says there will be plenty of folks at the pier.  However, Nassau is a place where I would use someone who has been vetted.

Can I ask who is your preferred snorkel vendor?  I’ve been looking for something like this for Nassau.
