kootz Posted January 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2019 We have already prepaid a deluxe drinking package/internet package for our upcoming cruise on the 20th. RCCL has already taken it out of our credit card. Is there still a way of canceling the package? We bought it months ago but now that we are dieting, we won’t be drinking as much as we thought. Thanks for any help.

katiel53 Posted January 14, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2019 You can go to your Cruise Planner and cancel it. You'd have to cancel both packages if that's what you purchased. I'd do it asap as your chance of doing so closer to the cruise date may hinder the refund to your card.
James Baird Posted January 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2019 It also takes up to 30 days to see the refund back on your credit card so don't expect to see the credit right away.

I guess I have been fortunate as I have cancelled the packages and rebooked them because of price decreases. My credit has been on my credit card within just a few days. My guess is it depends upon if you are looking at your account online, or perhaps waiting for a statement from the bank. I check online after a credit is issued to see when it is reflected and it's usually 3-4 days. I've never had to wait up to 30 days for it to be reflected.
