How long to book speciality dining?

We now have four star mariner 50% off benefit.  Can we just pre-book one of us?  I'm assuming that we'll take up the same size table.  We'll probably visit the Pinnacle Grill on embarkation day and get them to change the guest count.

I've been checking daily, and HAL is putting up dining for September right now.  I can book dining for our September cruises but not October yet.  Strangely the Tamarind isn't showing yet, which is the one we want. Everything else is there, so will keep watching.

that's an interesting question.  I've always booked for both of us and just gotten OBC back on board for the 50%.

Finally was able to reserve dinner at the Tamarind for May 2019 on the Koningsdam. Between that and the Ultimate dining package, I think that should be good!

I was able to book specialty dining today for the June 19th Alaska cruise on the Volendam in case that helps anyone!
