JSCW6 Posted January 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2019 Bonnie or anyone who may have the answer to this question: This fall I will be taking a cruise and moving up to the next tier in the loyalty program. It will entitle us to four free nights. I am planning on booking the next cruise on board to take advantage of the LCV discount. Do I have to just book a cruise within one year of the change in tier or do I also have to set sail within the year? I have called Azamara for clarification and received different responses each time. For example, if I book in October 2019, do I have to sail by October 2020 . Thanks, Jackie
laurieb Posted January 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2019 (edited) You just need to book the cruise within one year; we booked ours last June at just about the deadline for an October 2020 cruise. Edited January 16, 2019 by laurieb

You only need to book the cruise within one year of achieving the status. We booked our 6 free nights 11 months after moving to Discoverer Plus and sailed over a year later Vicki
Grandma Cruising Posted January 16, 2019 #7 Share Posted January 16, 2019 (edited) I agree. We booked a cruise to Norway for 1 July 2019 using our 4 free nights on a cruise in January 2018. I just had a look at the page about it on the UK website and found the wording below - this confirms that it is only book the cruise within a year, NOT take the cruise. Voyages with complimentary nights must be reserved within 1 year from when the loyalty member moves up in tier. (Note: This 1 year expiration date is the book by date, not the sail date. This is on the LCV member benefits page (this is the UK site, but the US site says the same). https://www.azamaraclubcruises.co.uk/le-club-voyage/le-club-voyage-programme/member-benefits Edited January 16, 2019 by Host Grandma Cruising
