Buying b-day cakes on Carnival...

Are these delivered to your room or in the dining area? Reason I ask, we are sailing 3 days after a b-day and I thought celebrating on the ship would be great, but I was hoping they deliver the cake to the room.

When you order the cake, you can specify when/where you want it. They will deliver to the cabin, or to your table in the dining room. (If you prefer the waiters NOT sing to you, be sure and tell your waiter.) Some folks like to be sung to, others don't.;)

Can you order the cake while onboard (The Liberty)? We have a couple celebrating their 50th Anniversary and would like to surprise them but haven't decided, at this time, when or where.

On Carnival ships, you can go to the "Formalities" shop. Odd, but that's where they take the cake orders, as well as floral orders, and where they sell the cookbooks.;)
