Coco Cay tendering and pool

 I’ve searched as best as I can for these answers, please forgive me if it’s been addressed. 

 

The pier is “scheduled” for completion in March. If it’s not completed, do the Oasis class ships actually tender?   Our May Harmony cruise is scheduled to call on Coco Cay and I was just wondering about that. 

 

Also, in order to just use the pool but not the slides or anything, do you purchase the water park pass, or is the pool with swim up bar separate?

As I understand it, tendering is not practical for Oasis class, so if the pier is not ready I suspect there will be a change of schedule.

 

I do believe there will be a public pool area, but still not 100 percent sure on what will be where.

How soon in advance are they letting people know if there is a change in ports and what port are they using instead?

Could be tomorrow, could be on board the ship.  All depends on conditions on the ground and how close they are to ready..  If they know it won't be ready, for sure, they'll start adjusting.

Anthem is not Oasis class.  Anthem is smaller and the largest one that tenders there.   I think Oasis can be as many as 1200 more pax than Anthem.

So, one thing that Oasis Lagoon pool is free and available to all, it's the wave pool, slides and adventure pool that would require you to book and pay for the Thrill Waterpark.  The Oasis Lagoon pool IS the one with the swim up bar.

Since it's already March...don't count on a pier just yet!

There is a thread on the Royal Caribbean site with several posters today stating that the pier is almost complete and that ships will be able to dock this week. I have no idea if this is reliable information but it is encouraging.

The pier is operational and ships are docking. Also, Oasis Lagoon up and running.
