2ndgenerationcruiser Posted January 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2019 I purchased Trip Mate insurance through Viking. I broke my shoulder and had to cancel my trip. I filed and my claim was approved. I’ve waited over their 30 day guarantee and still no refund. I was told by 3 different Trip Mate customer service people (one was even a supervisor) that its “in accounting “ can’t say when I’ll get a check, it’s all up to accounting. Needless to say I’m very upset and will never purchase insurance from Trip Mate insurance company again. Warning BUYER BE WARE! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
cherylandtk Posted January 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2019 If you do a brief look at this board you will see many similar complaints about the slow processing by Trip Mate. For a river cruise such as yours, the average result was about two months after all the paperwork has been submitted.
