VISTA Disembark - Galveston

Disembarking issues in the past have been due to the lack of ICE personnel.

This seems to have been resolved.

Carnival seemed to never have an issues, whereas Royal Caribbean had to wait for ICE personnel to finish at Carnival, thus creating the delay.Β  We sail RCI and have been off the ship by 7:30 to 8 am by self disembarking,.

Β

January, February and March cruises can be impacted by fog; but this too seems to be resolved with pilots agreeing to bring ships to port.

Β

Fog days can vary from 10 - 17 on an annual basis, with some years having no fog,Β  This is at the mercy of mother nature and no way to predict.

You should be fine.Β  We always walk off early and have made it home to north of Conroe by 10am.Β  You can also let guest services know your flight time and they may help ensure you are off early.Β  One of our travel partners is a minister and had to get to their church service at 11.Β  They made sure he was off among the first folks.Β
