NCL Transfer from Airport to Port

Does anyone know that if you use the NCL transfer service from the airport to the pier will they take your luggage off the bus and give to the porter?  Or do you have to collect your luggage and then hand to the porter?  I can't remember what cruise line (I think it was Carnival) I used but once I handed my luggage to the shuttle driver I didn't see it again until it was delivered to my room.  I'm trying to decide if I want to use NCL or an independent company to get from Orlando to Port Canaveral.

I can't speak for every port, of course, but for the several ports I have used the NCL transfer, once it's loaded in the bus, you are done with the luggage until it arrives at your cabin.

You keep your luggage with  you until you board the bus. Once you hand it to the bus driver, the next time you'll see it is on the ship. It's fast and efficient. The NCL agents will pick you up from your baggage claim area and escort you to the bus waiting area. Then you are [usually] on a comfortable motor coach (vs having to crawl into a shuttle van and being crammed in like sardines. Well worth the cost of the transfer.

Will the NCL transfer agents attach your NCL luggage tags for you? Or do you do that before boarding the bus?

Do people travel with a stapler just for attaching their tags?!

Can anyone use the transfer service or do you have to be flying thru NCL.

we are flying into miami and looking for decent transportation for 7 when we DEPART the ship.  Will be going from airport to hotel before we board for the cruise.

1.  Any NCL cruise passenger can purchase available NCL airport-to-port transfers.  Do so by phone to NCL before the cruise (you can also purchase return transfers onboard at Guest Services).

 

2.  I travel with a small roll of cellophane tape and attached the luggage tags with a wrap or two of tape just before handing over my luggage.
