Bottomless Bubbles Question

This is probably a silly question, but if you purchase bottomless bubbles, can you bring your own cup (like a tervis tumbler or a travel mug or something) and ask them to fill that up instead of using individual cups every time?

Yes you can. My son gets the bubbles package and has them fill his Yeti tumbler. Never had a problem.

Some bartenders will do this, others will not.  Just depends.  You can always try.

If the bartender will not fill the cup, I take the drink given to me and pour it into my cup leaving the glass on the bar.  No problem either way.

I would think that there may be sanitary issues with them doing it. But I could be wrong.

We always take our Yeti style cups and almost all the bartenders will fill the cup directly.  A couple will only use their glass but as suggested before, pour the soda in your cup and leave the empty glass on the bar. 

On the Horizon in November the bartenders gave us the full can in our cup probably 90% of the time.  We usually declined the more ice question and got the full can and then added ice from the free beverage section if more ice was needed.  This really helped cut down on trips to the bar for a refill.

A can? Nothing wrong with pouring it in a cup especially if someone wants to take a soda to the cabin. Sound like something that I will do on my cruise.

Does Carnival give soda cups? I know on the Princess Cruise we were given a special cup for the soda package.

Pouring it into a cup that you gave them not knowing where it had been. It would be the same reason they do not mix your next drink in the used glass you carried back to the bar, or they want you to always take a new plate in the lido buffet, or why they put sneeze guards on buffets, or you should wash your hands after using the restroom, why you should not push the elevator buttons with your tongue, or lick the stairway railings.

we were always told no to refilling our own cups.

 

(notice signs on the lido water that ask that you do not refill personal mugs etc to get a new cup and pour water from the new cup  but people do not read while on vacation)

 

If the bar crew do use your mug I hope they used a scooper to throw ice in there.      and no they will not give you a whole can to take back to your cabin

We've carried them with us since the first Yeti was introduced and had no problem having them filled with using the Bottomless Bubbles package. We did this as recently as three weeks ago on the Valor.

 Other ships that we have personal experience were the Conquest, Triumph, Breeze, Vista, Freedom and Liberty.
