Wheelchair question

Hello, we will be in Progresso and Cozumel in March. My mother will have a manual wheelchair that can fold up. She can walk a short distance in her own. 

 

Will the shuttles in Progresso be able to take her fold up wheelchair? 

 

We want to go to Chankanaab in Cozumel. Will the taxis be able to hold her folded up wheel chair?

I can't answer for Progreso, but the taxis in Coz will definitely take her folded wheelchair, provided that it fits into the trunk or the back of a van.

Virtually all of the shuttle busses in Progreso do have storage under the bus.

Never had much trouble getting a folding wheelchair on any shuttle.

We went all over Cozumel with a folding chair back in December with no issues, including a butt ton of running around in less developed areas. There was the occasional oddball lightpost or sign to work around, but it worked okay overall. It did take a bit of oomph to get the chair up curbs in areas where they weren't any ramps, but it worked out pretty well in the end. My husband is in a similar state to your mom, if that helps.
