cincicruisers Posted February 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2019 Is there anything out there to sign up for so we can texted each other on the ship?
Mismatched Posted February 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2019 (edited) NCL app for Android and iPhone allows you to text/call each other while on the ship. It costs $10/phone/cruise. You don't have to pay for internet to use it, but have to be connected to the ship WiFi. Edited February 2, 2019 by Mismatched

You probably need to do it once on board the ship. Keep in mind - that $10 only covers texting within the ship to others that have the app and have paid for the feature, you'll need an internet plan for WiFi texting to people on-shore or need to pay for the cell-at-sea service. Rare mking8288 Posted February 2, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2019 You can only set this up after connecting to ship's WiFi system.

I didn't care for it. Sometimes messages would take a while to be delivered and more often than not I could not connect on a call.
