Silver Moon question

We are sailing on the Holland America Koningsdam with a 4/1 stop in Barbados.  Our scheduled dock time is 8AM.  I have booked and excursion with Silver Moon.  In our confirmation form Silver Moon the meeting time is 8:30AM.  I am trying to sort out is the dock time on ship time or Barbados time?  Can we make the 8:30 meeting time.  Has anyone had a 8AM scheduled dock time.  Did you make it to the 8:30 meeting point with Silver Moon with no issues?  Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

In our neck of the woods (Carib. islands)

ship time is usually local time.

I've never known it otherwise, in 11 cruises up/down these islands

to P.Rico and back.

 

Silver Moon people will be waiting for you -they're like that...

We expect delays and inefficiencies, in the islands

It's how things "work" - stop worrying.

 

I see a number in the local Tel.Directory - 435-5285

and also 435-5284 (even if it is the Accounts and General Office.)

Walk with those numbers.
