Cruise Planner Question

For our cruise next year on the Adventure my partner and I have onboard credit. The credit shows up in our cruise planner and says we can use it for online purchases. My question is if I bought something online like a drink package do I have to use the onboard credit or can I just pay with my credit card and save the onboard credit to use on the ship?

You can pay however you prefer.  OBC or Credit Card.

When you get to the checkout stage, it asks if you want to use any of your OBC for the purchase.
