CruisingSince1982 Posted February 12, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2019 Hi - it's been a long time since we have sailed Royal. Sail away is at 4:30 pm. I'm assuming the sail away party is also at 4:30? This is on the Allure. We are seeing Mamma Mia at 8pm, so I reserved MTD for 5:30 that night. Will we be allowed in the dining room in shorts on night one? Just thinking time wise we are kinda cutting it close. I figure we will go right from the sail away party to dinner, but if it will be an issue, we can run back to the cabin and see if our suitcases have arrived, or worse case, we can eat in the buffet. Thank you.

Clarea Posted February 12, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2019 Royal does not enforce dress suggestions, you can wear whatever you like.

eastender Posted February 12, 2019 #12 Share Posted February 12, 2019 Please comply with the dress code, on formal nights baseball caps must be worn back to front when wearing shorts and tank top.
RickinStl Posted February 12, 2019 #13 Share Posted February 12, 2019 We love to get dressed up on sea days.. I'd rather wear a suit and tie for a happy occasion than I would any other time I wear a suit.. Its fun to dress for the nines, have your picture taken and enjoy a night when you wouldn't normally dress up.. Wear what you want. You're on vacation!! Have a blast and don't sweat the small stuff.. The small stuff (is everything) lol
