Drinks package question

We are not big drinkers so we were thinking of getting the refreshment package for the two of us for our upcoming cruise in July on Harmony. If when we get onboard there is a good deal on the unlimited package, does Royal charge us the difference between the cost of the refreshment package and the unlimited or do we loose out on what we have already paid? The unlimited on our sailing is coming out at $57.10 before the tax is added once I convert from £ to $’s, which is a bit expensive for our tastes.

You can pay the diff, though it may involve canceling the refreshment (getting OBC) then buying the deluxe. Unlikely you'll get a better deal on board than pre-cruise - keep checking prices.

Our experience has been that they charge the difference.  But the pre-cruise difference may be different than the on board difference.
