nzstuart51 Posted February 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2019 QM2 is scheduled to arrive Singapore early morning on 10 March. We are scheduled to disembark the following morning. In order to catch our booked flight back to Australia we would really need to be off the ship and through customs and immigration formalities by no later than 8.00am. I recognise that this will be tight but is it doable and what would we need to do to have the best chance of catching our flight? What do you experts out there suggest please? cruiseluvva Posted February 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2019 I am not sure. Last time we docked at Singapore we didn’t berth until gone 7am, then formalities had to be completed with the local officials before anyone could leave the ship. You will obviously have to carry off ALL your luggage but even then traffic can be really bad.......particularly at that time of day. Is there not a later flight? Summergee Posted February 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Could you leave the ship the day you arrive and stay at a hotel for the night?
d9704011 Posted February 13, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2019 If you are docking in Singapore on March 10 (and clearing customs at that time) why would there be any issue getting to the airport on the morning of March 11? Did I misunderstand the schedule?
cruiseluvva Posted February 13, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2019 Apologies I missed the fact you arrive the day before. In which case you can leave whenever you like - as early as you want - providing you carry off your own luggage.
