Cabins that sleep 5 on ships that sail from Australia?

Does anyone know if there is a charge for having connected cabins?

I don’t know about all cruise lines, but my understanding is that there shouldn’t be any extra charges beyond the advertised cost of each individual cabin.

Worth noting though, is that they may not offer the interconnecting cabins up as options unless they have a pair that fit the exact size of your family (a 2 person cabin connected to a 3 person one).  For example, two interconnecting cabins that both sleep four would probably show up as unavailable as they’d rather sell them to two groups of four to maximise profit.  This can limit the number of interconnecting cabins available on a ship and it does incentivise booking early if you find a pair you like.

Hope this helps.
