I have an existing MSC booking for 2020 and noticed that a U.K. online TA is quoting a price lower that we got from MSC even with VC discount.

anybody know if you can transfer an existing booking a get the new lower price from TA or would I need to cancel and rebook losing deposit, we are in UK.

If you are merely transferring to a TA without further changes, perhaps for better service or more OBC, then that normally doesn't change anything.  If it's a change other than that, then yes it may involve a cancellation and rebook.  Should that occur, you might be happy with the change or unhappy.

In my case, I didn't move to a TA, but saw a better promotion.  They assured me that I could keep the same cabin, but moved me to something far worse.  Been fighting to get it restored for about 3 months.  They just moved me again, far better than the last move, but not as good as the original cabin.

I'd call the TA to discuss.  Sometimes, the agencies take down blocks of rooms and such, but they should be able to provide you with further guidance.
