Will there be anything longer than 5 days on V V?

 I realize that some people like shorter cruises and that’s fine, but we prefer to do 7-10 day cruises (it feels more like a real vacation and it makes the cost and hassle of flying in/out of the port city worthwhile). When I checked the site, I found only 5 or fewer days for all scheduled cruises - does anyone know if at any point Virgin Voyages plans to have the standard 7 day cruises (or longer)?

Yes, though likely not till very late 2020, with the second ship or when they get their own terminal in Miami.

and if not, then go B2B.    Dominican on one leg and Havana the next.

You could always do a Back to Back to Back and visit Dominican, Havana, and Costa Maya.

Back to Back is what was recommended by the marketing department for the time being.  Until they get the second ship, they'll probably stick to 5 day maximums.  4 ships total are on order.

We have a general rule that the vacation has to be at least as many days as we spend hours flying. SFO to MIA is 5 hours and our upcoming cruise is 4 days, so we'll have to spend a few days in Florida. A couple of days in the Keys would be my preference.
