We arrive on Regent Voyager on 5th March but our flight is 9.15 in evening - any ideas on best way to spend day bearing in mind we will need to include transfers to airport and storage of luggage

Thanks

Uber to MIA, pay to store your bags, and ride the Airport Flyer bus to South Beach - boozy brunch, beac, people watching, art deco architecture, hip on/off bus tour, etc.

Or Uber to South Beach, and pay to store your bags at the Luggage Lounge.

www.resortpass.com has resorts and large hotels that will sell you a day pass to their spa, pool and beach facilites.

Pullman Hotel and some others near the airport off day rates for rooms. www.between9and5.com is one source to check.

Or rent a car for the day and go where you want.  Good luck! 😎

We took our chances as the cruise option seemed very expensive

We collected our luggage and as we exited the terminal there is a hop on hop off rep. They charge $59 pp and take you to Bayside Marketplace where they store your luggage until you need a transfer to the airport They have transfer buses from Bayside at 3,4 or 5pm. Also included are the hop on hop off tickets for the day

All went very smoothly and we thought very good value.

Have a wonderful holiday

I got the same response - I think they must have to say that so as not to upset the cruise line. But there was no difficulty booking direct with the rep as we came out of the terminal. They even have a credit card machine with them to take payment!

So does hop on hop drop you off at the airport

No. Check their websites (at least 2 companies the last time we were there).  Based out of Bayside and picking up at some hotels.  UberX from downtown to the airport will run about $18+
