Crown medallion

I have only sailed on Princess once before and it was before the crown medallion.  I understand that the medallion will be available on our cruise Nov 27.  I know very little about this program, and my biggest concern will be do I need to purchase the internet package.  We unplug on vacation and dont even take our phones.  I will have my tablet, but only for playing games or reading offline.  Can we still use most of the things that the medallion offers without purchasing the internet.

Yes, you can use your medallion for things on the ship without using internet. The Ocean Concierge and Compass apps work with the ship intranet (replacing Princess@Sea).

Yes. You can use it to open your cabin door and to make on-board purchases.
