Port to Airport - 1:30pm flight

Thinking of booking a Southwest flight at Hobby Airport that leaves at 1:30pm. Will be on the Carnival Dream disembarking on a Saturday in May. Is this doable or will it be too close for comfort? I am not familiar with the area so I have no idea about traffic, etc. Thanks for your help!

Oops forgot to mention we will be at the Galveston port.

   traffic is not really an issue on Saturdays . depends on how long it takes to disembark.  i honestly  not sure but most cruisers says it slow disembarking at Galveston port. but distance and traffic between port and airport  is doable thats assuming you get back to port in the morning

That should be no problem at all. You don't even need to be one of the first off the ship. It doesn't give you enough time to do anything but head to the airport, however.
