Grandeur Drydock/Tampa Hotels

Anyone know when Grandeur is schedule to go into Drydock ?

I'm not positive, but just recently on these boards I read that the Grandeur is scheduled to receive the same stretch as the Enchantment did in or around October. The process will take about a month and a half. You may want to search under "RCI Dry Dock Schedules." I think that was the thread where i read it. Hope this helps!

I was wondering the same thing about the dry dock. I heard it was suppose to be between OCT-Dec 2005, but can't find any confirmation on that. Does anyone know if they EVER:eek: fixed the dent after the Costa Maya Incident?:confused:

I saw Grandeur earlier this month in Cozumel while on Navigator. The hole was patched but the dent is still evident. It's a little embarrassing

I will be on in June as well and as long as it doesn't leak, the dent can stay. I will have to do a comparison on the stretch, before and after. As long as it still ports in Baltimore, I will be back.

Isnt it great to cruise out of Baltimore?? We sailed last July with the dent & maDe out fine! Going again this July!

I am very eager to read the responses from those that are more in the know than this Mississippi Mom. I would just love to read some confirmation about that "stretch." What an awesome way to return the ship to the Port of New Orleans!

wont be stretched this year. Maybe in 2007. If you look at the Grandeur schedule, they are sailing every week for the rest of the year and well into 2007.

We just got off the Grandeur on Monday and the LA told us that they were not scheduled for a drydock until after Dec 2006. She said there would be alot of updated improvements, but made no mention of any stretching. So nothing new for our Oct cruise :( . Oh well, at least the dent gives the ship a bit of character :rolleyes: .
