Vista cabin location questions

I just booked my very first cruise and it's just 20 days away! I'm going on Vista in March. A friend of mine and her daughter booked through a travel agent a few days before I did and they are going to be in an inside cabin on deck 6 in the middle which seems like a great location. I went through a Carnival vacation planner who called me after I was searching and almost went through an online booking. He said the only cabins left were on deck 2 and that's what the website showed also. I took a family harbor inside cabin on deck 2. He said he would move me if something else became available. Is there any chance that will happen? I kind of think the family harbor area would be a good location. It will just be me and my sons who are teen and

pre-teen age. Also, for those who have stayed on deck 2, is there any outside access from that deck if you aren't in a balcony room? I don't mean to walk all the way around. I would just like some place to go and look outside.
