kapcruiser Posted April 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Can someone let me know how much it is to rent all the equipment needed to snorkel on the shore excursions. I am debating on buying 2 sets instead of renting them depending on the cost. Inspiration - August 2004
oceantravel Posted April 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2004 If snorkeling is part of the excursion then snorkel equipment will be provided. On the beaches we visited the fee was $6 in Cozumel and $12 at Doctors Cave Beach Club in Jamaica. Patti My Conquest Review
Cotton Posted April 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2004 In Cozumel, at Chankanaab Park, I had my own snorkel and mask - rented the fins $3 and vest $3. Jenks7980 Posted April 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2004 On our Triumph cruise you could actually purchase a snorkle for $5.00. Tammy Grandeur 10/99 Grandeur 10/00 Triumph 3/
kujobie Posted April 9, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2004 Yhey have started charging extra for equipment on some of the carnival excursions. What ship/itinerary are you on and are you talking about excursions booked thru the cruise line? Best bet is to buy your own, at least a mask and snorkel, and just rent fins. That way you know they fit and won't leak and you know where they've been. Jubilee..May 2002 Sensation...May 2003 Glory...April 2004
LuvTheSea14 Posted April 10, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2004 We have our own but most shore excursions include the equiptment but you should buy the mouthpiece on the ship for $5 for sanitary reasons Have Fun
