Kayaks in St. Maarten?

Leaving with Royal Caribbean, going to St. Maarten. Does anyone have recommendations for kayak rentals on the St. Maarten port side? Or know of a good taxi/bus/shuttle service to get to the St. Martin, other side, and rent the kayaks by Pinel Island? Rental cars might be tough for my fiance and I, since he is 22 and I am 21... Thanks for your help!

Caribbean Paddling has a great excursion. They pick you up a the ship and take you out to the bay (very quiet and easy paddle) includes kayak or paddleboard. dry bags, optional picnic lunch.  Row over to Pinel Island grab a chair and umbrella. bar service and restaurant available. they meet you back at the beach at whatever time you agree upon.  Great service. we had a wonderful beach day trip!!
