Favorite Dublin atractions/castles/tour company

What are your favorite places to visit in Dublin/private tour companies and especially favorite medieval castles

(which my husband wants to see)  A friend told me that Blarney castle is too touristy and crowded. Want to book

excursions.

Blarney Castle is in Cork. About 3 hours drive from Dublin.

Have a look at Malahide Castle. which is reasonably close to Dublin port.
