In what category on cl did you list them?

Good question, had to look it up.  I apparently ended up listing them under Collectibles.

Going to Cuba? Save on exchange - $100 (midtown)

condition: good

We accidentally came back from Cuba with 100 CUCs (Cuban Convertible Pesos). Although worth $100 USD, if you were to exchange $100 in Cuba they would give you only 87 CUCs, after exchange rate and embargo surcharge. Buy it from me and you get the full 100 CUCs for your $100.

We cannot use credit card.

We cannot use US dollars

Will a  merchant(cigar/souvenir) accept Euros? Or do we go to a bank prior and get Euros which can be exchanged for Cuban currency at the cruise port.

Correct?

You would exchange Euro etc for Cuban CUC on arrival.  The only difference is you avoid the 10% dollar penalty.
